Description
New S&S T-Series Long Block engines don't come with a fuel or ignition system. Perfect for riders who already have a high performance ignition and carburetor or EFI throttle body and tuner. Since the heads are specially machined to fit a stock length manifold and breathing system, an air cleaner, carburetor, or throttle body that fit a stock engine will fit your new S&S engine. So if you have already added a performance carburetor or an EFI throttle body and tuner to your stock engine, you can use it on your new engine. A carburetor or throttle body that fits a stock engine will fit the new S&S engine because the heads are specially machined to compensate for the increased cylinder length so a stock length manifold will fit. If you've installed a performance ignition or EFI tuner, you can use it. S&S is also introducing the T124LC engine, which has slightly lower compression and a shorter duration cam set. This engine is ideal for heavy vehicles like fully loaded baggers and trikes. Lower compression makes the T124LC more resistant to knock and detonation, and promotes better engine life and dependability. T-series engines are available as T111-111CI (1806CC), perfect sport-touring engine, T124-124CI (2035CC), hot-rod performance, 640 Easy Start Cams and T124LC-124CI (2035CC) with slightly lower compression, 585 Easy Start Cams. Available in Silver powder coated and Black wrinkle powder coated finish. All S&S T-series engines feature special head machining to fit stock length intake manifolds and a stock style breathing system with stock breather spacing compatible with stock and most performance air cleaners. T-Series engines come with a S&S high flow oil pump and cam cover and Easy Start cams.
ENGINE MANAGEMENT AND FUEL SYSTEMS
Cylinder heads on T-Series engines are of the 1999-2005 style. Owners of 2006 models will need to purchase a set of 1999-2005 style offset intake flanges. They are compatible with manifolds and throttle bodies with stock length intake runners and stock style air cleaner back plates will bolt up to these engines. 1999-2001 EFI engines equipped with Magneti Marelli fuel injection will require a performance tuning module such as the DynoJet Power Commander 3 or S&S VFI module. The stock dual-bore EFI throttle body is not adequate for T111 or T124 engines. The S&S 58mm EFI single bore throttle body is highly recommended to achieve maximum performance. 2002 to present EFI engines equipped with Delphi fuel injection will require a performance tuner such as the DynoJet Power Vision tuner, ThunderMax, or S&S VFI module. The stock single bore throttle body can not supply adequate air for these large displacement engines. An S&S 58mm throttle body is highly recommended for maximum performance. Carbureted engines will require a performance ignition module that allows adjustments to the advance curves. The stock ignition module is not adjustable, and use of the stock module will likely result in engine damage due to knock from incorrect ignition timing. Performance carburetors are recommended to achieve maximum performance. S&S Super E carburetors are ideal for T111 engines in touring applications, but a Super G will produce more top end horsepower. S&S Super G carburetors are recommended for T111 engines in performance applications, and for T124 engines in all applications.
Note: Unless otherwise noted, an oil line installation kit for your application must be ordered separately. Installation in Touring 2007-2016 requires a small modification of the transmission housing. A drilling fixture kit to make this easy is also available.
Size does matter. The S&S T143 Long Block engine is the biggest and baddest S&S engine that will fit in a stock frame. It's big, 143 cubic inches. Since the introduction of the S&S T124 eleven years ago, it has continued to set the industry standard for aftermarket engines. The T124 has become the go-to choice for upgrading your late model Harley-Davidson motorcycle and it remains a great choice today. However, there's a new sheriff in town. The T124's big brother just came to the party. At double the HP of a stock motor the power of the T143 requires technical expertise for the installation and tuning along with an experienced rider. This is an ultra performance/race engine. Longevity, engine noise, vibration and throttle sensitivity have all been compromised to reach this level of performance while fitting in a stock chassis and as such is not suitable for every situation. It is the purchaser's responsibility to consider the suitability for their application. Engine noise and damage from abuse is not covered under warranty.

Note: Installation in Touring requires modification of the stock transmission housing. A drilling fixture kit to make this a breeze is available separately. Installation also requires the separate purchase of an oil line routing kit and a year specific head mount bracket. Does not accept stock exhaust system. An exhaust flange starter kit to build your own exhaust or to modify an existing performance exhaust is also available.
Note:
1. 70mm Induction kits are sold on exchange only. Your dealer has to send your stock throttle body to Zodiac, who will send it on to S&S
2. S&S tests your incoming throttle body and its electrical components -a non-functional unit cannot be used and will be returned
3. S&S transfers your functional electrical components to your new S&S Throttle Hog
4. The complete Throttle Hog is tested and shipped via Zodiac to your dealer (along with your original throttle body)
S&S Twin Cam style crankcases are good news for engine builders who want to build Twin Cam TC88A style engines from scratch. S&S Twin Cam style crankcases feature greater overall strength than stock crankcases, especially in the front motor mount, an important consideration in high performance applications. All oil passages between the crankcase and gear cover are O-ring sealed. Timken style sprocket shaft bearing and S&S breather reed valve included. Cases are clearanced for strokes-5" and are compatible with stock components from 1999-2006 models, except 2006 Dyna. Use stock or aftermarket oil pump, cam support plate, gear cover, etc., and order the required oil line installation kit for your application as listed below.

Our stock is held at several warehouses located in the UK, Germany and The Netherlands. Our inventory management system aggregates the stock levels in all locations.
Where an item is marked as "ready to be shipped" or "in stock" it means that it is available from one of the warehouses, not necessarily in the UK. Where an item is stocked outside of the UK we will have the item(s) brought over to our UK base and will then ship it to you.
All items are shipped from the UK meaning that the price you see is the price you pay. All import duties and taxes have already been paid by us.
It normally takes 2-3 working days for goods to come in from Europe.

Any returned items must be unused, in pristine condition and in all original packaging which must be clean and undamaged.
Please do not write on the product packaging or attach any tape or labels to it.

Goods returned otherwise than in accordance with the above conditions will not be accepted for return, no refund will be issued and if you want us to send the goods back to you it will be your responsibility to cover the costs of return postage and packing.
WRONG / DEFECTIVE ITEM POLICY
On very rare occasions, we do make mistakes on shipping item. Please contact us when this happens and we will make it right. We may or may not require the original item to be returned to us.
We reserve the right to request for photos of the wrong item shipped to you. For all defective items please start a damage claim by contacting us and send clear photos of the wrong/defective item and a copy of the original invoice. Refund will be made within ten (10) business days after receipt of package.
